I’m creating a new blog about literature ( what I’ve read, what I’m reading), but I’m having trouble thinking of a title. I like the idea of something having to do with an obsession with literature but I think bookophilia is on the average side. What do you think of Litophilia? Is it too similar to “lithophilia” Which means the love of stones? Any ideas? Thanks!.
If you are truly shipping to Hawaii, then, I’d suggest you forget about literature for a couple years. Be sure to go to the Big Island and meet Dave Fukumoto: he will teach you everything about bonsai. If you insist on pursuing your literary obsession, “litophilia” sounds like a satisfactory title to me. Though it sounds like a disease. I am a Pogophile and a Hammett addict. Maybe you could focus on a genre and come up with a clever name for the blog. Good luck.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help stop content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.

Do you have a spam problem on this blog; I also am a blogger, and I was wanting to know your situation; many of us have created some nice procedures and we are looking to exchange strategies with other folks, why not shoot me an email if interested.
I don’t know if I have a spam problem or not. I know I get lots of comments, and many of those comments are so far off-topic that I wonder what they could possibly have to do with my story. If you know of a FREE wasy to avoid spam, I’d sure like to know what that would be.
The very core of your writing whilst appearing agreeable initially, did not really sit well with me personally after some time. Someplace throughout the paragraphs you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately only for a short while. I nevertheless have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and you would do well to fill in all those breaks. If you can accomplish that, I would surely be impressed.

Yes, I am using WordPress as my blog platform (though I didn’t know the term until you mentioned it). I am also new to blogging: I just wanted to write a story and have people read it. I still don’t know how people find it. It is exciting to me when I see (on the wordpress Site Stats page) that someone in India or France or South Africa or Amsterdam (or other exotic-to-me location) has read a chapter or two. I really enjoy it when I hear from strangers like you.

This is truly bizarre Chuck. I’ve gotten occasional spam comments, but this takes the cake! Is there not a spam filter on your blog?
As I recall, there’s something called Azkimet? I don’t know anything about computers, really. This morning, while on my wordpress page, I found 37 spams and deleted them. I’ve not checked for spam in six months; so I suspect the spamming is less bad than it once was. I used to read comments and respond…. now I don’t, unless I get an email from wordpress.comasking me to “moderate” a comment.
